MGJEA was pleased to announce that 2nd Asia Jadeite Focus Forum was successfully accomplished in Nay Pyi Taw at 14.3.2019. The forum was attended by Dr.Than Myint, Union Minister for  Ministry of Commerce, Dr.Ye Myint Swe, Deputy Union Minister for Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, Chairman and members of Natural Resources Committee from Pyithu Hluttaw and Amyotha Hluttaw, Departmental  Director Generals and Managing Directors Official, U La Hpai Hkun Sa –President and Vice-Presidents of MGJEA, Central Executive Committee Members and Affiliated Associations.                    
From the People’s Republic of China Side, Attending(11) Diamond and Jewelry Associations led by Guandong Research Institute of Jade Diamond and jewelry Associations.

First, Union Minister (MOC) and Deputy Minister (Deputy Union Minister for Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation) delivered welcome speech at the forum.

The aims of the forum are the rapid developments of e-commerce market with a system that can effectively penetrate into the online marketing system which may believe and implement for customer, to be standardized with new policy on Myanma Jade excavation and tariff matters between Myanmar –China Border trade. As well as  the two countries deeply discussed on Jade finished and jewelry industry is stiff and strong domestic market can penetrate overseas, to be established and implementation for Gems Laboratory Unit and forming of valuation team so that  it will become trust for buyers.   

Then Forum was successfully done by evening 6:00 pm. 

The companies that will present and sell jade sets at the jewelry fair should only submit their company registration certificates online through the MyCo system with copies of certificates registered on the website of the Department of Investment and Companies (www.myco.dica.gov.mm)

Myanmar's 2 EITI was celebrated in the Grandball room of Sule Shangri-La Hotel on 19th November, 2018. Deputy Minister U Maung Maung Win, Ministry of Planning and Finance and the authorized persons, CSO(s), Donor(s) and responsible persons from the association were attended to represent the MGJEA. According to the MEITI'S (2014-2016) Fiscal year reports, there were many improvements and some matters where needed to be improved too. We've also known that Myanmar is trying to be a permanent member from the temporary status/member 

Dr.Aung Kyaw Win( Vice President of MGJEA representing the MGJEA made discussion under the content of Cooperation of jewelry trading between China and ten ASEAN Nations" about (15) minutes and showed the corporate Video of MGJEA about (5) minutes at 7" AEC+12 Gems and Jewelry Presidents' Summit at Shanghai Then, he invited presidents, vice president and CEC members of 20 nations to come and participate at 2" Yangon International Gems and Jewelry Fair from 9-13 January 2019 and 1" Mandalay International Gems and Jewelry fair from 15h-19h January 2019. Many nations from the world were very proud and welcomed Myanmar's gems and jewelry industry improvements. And then, Dr.Aung Kyaw Win and respected presidents from the 20 nations signed MOU Agreement After that, Mr.Suttipong, president at AEC+12 Gems and Jewelry Presidents Summit officially announced that they will change the name of to "the 8th summit the will be held in Turkey, 2019.
